If Only (X-Man) « Thread Started on Jun 21, 2007, 2:22am »
The scene was the lake. It was still with only one row boat out on the lake. The sun was beginning to set behind the tree on the other side of the lake, and the water shone with orange light. The scene should be romantic, but when you have no one it's just depressing. The moon was out, but didn't shine because the sun was out as well. One single star was out not far from the moon.
Magik was wearing a look of sadness. She was in her red costume with the armor plates on her arms and her legs. Her soulsword was in the nothingness, and she didn't feel much like summoning it. Her blond hair was blowing behind her shining yellow like it was. She was wearing a light pink lipstick, that was somewhat glossy.
"Why must it be like this? I am happy to be back with the X-Men, my brother, and Kitty, but I can't help but miss limbo. I am its ruler, and yet I am not there. And there there aren't any humans to make me feel wierd. It's so wierd to see my bestfriend and brother so in love. Not to mention the fact I have no one. Kitty and Piotr are out together, and I have no real friends to hang with." Our someone to love. Magik was so glad that she had such strong mental blocks.

Nate had finally left the confines of his room. Now that the sun was setting, the people were coming back into the mansion, letting him go out and explore the ground. A gray t-shirt and a pair of dark blue sweatpants composed his hastily chosen attire.
He didn't even wait for a response. Instead, he had continued along his trek. It was obvious he was angry about something. In reality, it was Magik. After all, would you like it if your father and all of his friends were pushing you towards a shy girl you really didn't see as anything more than an acquaintance? He needed a strong woman, somebody who could keep up with him.

Magik blushed at the sound of Nate's voice. The blush was from both his handsomeness and the embarrasment from him hearing her talking to herself. She hadn't even noticed it herself, she just did it. "Excuse me, but why are you so angry? You seem a little tense. Have I done something to you?" Magik was surprised by her courage. She was speaking to this guy, this guy she had such a strong crush on. Of course he wouldn't like her though. She wasn't beautiful like Emma or smart like Kitty. She was just plane old Illyana. No worse she was the wierd witch. Why would Nate be interested in a witch. Illyana had half a mind to teleport away before she could further embarass herself, but she didn't. She couldn't keep running away.

"It's my father and all of his stupid friends. A fucking elf and an alcoholic are trying to pressure me into dating you and I don't want to! I'm sorry, but I don't need a shy girl! You're just not my type! I just...I hate my father and those two. Just....RAGHHHHHHH!"
The trees around them swayed and even bent downward. In his anger, Nate's telekinesis had activated. The lake was split in two clean sections, with the middle of its bottom clearly being visible. The birds were flying away from the invisible attack while the rabbits hopped away as fast as they could.
Finally, he fell to a knee. Some of the trees had been snapped, but the rest stood back up. The lake returned to normal. Some of the birds returned.

Magik raised her hand and a yellow light flew out of his hand and flew towards Nate. It wouldn't hurt him just calm it down. "You don't hate your father. He only wants what's best for you. And you shouldn't refer to Siryn as an alcoholic! I thought you were a nice huy, but your an ass. Call a friend and alcoholic, and and." Magik stopped talking and let down her mental barriers. Her eyes began to sting, and she could feel them water. One tear came down and she turned around quickly so that Nate couldn't see her. "Your father and Nightcrawler, and Siryn, they suggested me beause, well." Magik swallowed. She was nerves, should she really tell him. "They suggested beacuse I, I have a crush on you. They were doing me a favor, so you can be angry at me. But don't worry, I don't like you any longer. Because your a real asshole. You didn't get that from your parents." Magik didn't turn around for fear that X-Man would see the tears on her face. She was lying, she still liked him, but he would know that seeing as her mental barriers were down.

Nate had calmed down. Her light had seen to that. But when she had explained everything to him, upon calling him an ass, a real asshole, that changed. His left eye flared with yellow psionic energy from the anger within.
"This world has made me into what I am. This reality is flawed at its very core. Everybody in this mansion is evil. They're the real assholes. Remember that." And once again, Nate was gone, retreating back to his room from whence he came.

They were what. It took a lot to get Magik mad but X-Man had done it. They weren't evil. Reality hadn't made him the way he was he did it himself. Hows could say that about people who really cared about him. Magik had hoped that calling hin an ass would make him go away, but she seemed to have hurt his feelings. The blonde guessed that he was just as emotional as she was. Magik looked toward the sun as it finished setting and dissapeared. The strong young mutant made a portal for X-Man's room and stepped inside. "You know X-Man I didn't really mean it. And I told you they were only trying to help with my crush." She was in his room. Magik was feeling a little hot to be there of all places. She was in the bedroom of the man of her dreams. Of course this wasn't the kind of visit to his room that she had imagined.

"GET OUT OF MY ROOM!" Nate had been sitting on his bed, calming down. But now that she had ruptured the line between his room and the rest of the mansion, he was mad. She had trespassed into his Fortress of Solitude.
As he stood up, his left eye flared with energy once again. "I don't care! All of you are after me! You, the alcoholic, the demon, the whores! EVERYONE!" A gooey black tendril suddenly shot out from Nate's body and wrapped around his bed, lifting it up and roughly slamming it on the floor.

Magik's face tightened. What was wrong with this guy. Illyana called upon her soulsword and held it in a fighting position. She could since something wrong with Nate. It was Magic, but the young witch had no clue what it was. Nate was possessed that much she knew, and she knew how to deal with that. "Nate, your being possessed. Because you might not remember this I must tell you that I love you. The soulsword won't hurt you just whatever is possessing you so don't be angry about this." Magik ran towards Nate with her sword held high. She jumped on to his bed and slashed down towards them. The sword should pass through Nate ridding him of the creature and leaving him normal.

Magik had underestimated him. "I don't love you." His brown eyes turned a pale silver, almost white, as he looked at Magik. "Who could love an plain old eleven-year-old!" As she lunged at him, Nate used his telekinesis to sharply push her back, slamming her into - and possibly through - the wall of his room leading out to the hallway.

Okay you two, this is very interesting, but as of now it never happened. Nate, you are far out of character with X-Man. X-Man is a very complex and cool character and he deserves to be rped right. This is your first official warning. Two more warnings from ANY staff member and your canon character will be taken away. Also Nate remember that your first post ina thread must be at least 10 sentences. One paragraph to explain how your charries looking, and the second to be the real rp. If you start the thread then it should be three paragraphs just like Pixie's first post.
