Training or Slaughter? « Thread Started on Jun 20, 2007, 4:07am »
Logan was headed down to one of his well needed trainings. He had been getting slightly out of shape lately. He slowely walked into the room and looked around. And empty room. He heared the door slide shut and something happening inside the room.
He slowely looked up and around as figures started to form. He knew them all to well. Why did chosen these ones again? Around him stood Magneto, Sabretooth and Omega Red. He looked around him and let his claws slid out. He waited. Omega attacked first with Sabretooth. Logan jumped up and spread his legs making a spinning kick as he did. He landed on his hands and knees. He jumped up and slashed out. Sabretooth was down.
He jumped over the exploding droid to Omega. He avoided the coils and kicked him back. He ducked low for Magneto who came in. He slashed back and jumped over Omage and kicked him back to Magneto. As the level went up so did Logan. He ducked low and swiped the feet under Magneto taking him down. He jumped back for Omega who advanced at him. He moved way faster and more agile.
As the droid of Omega exploded he looked back at Magneto. He ran up to him and jumped up in a loop over him. He moved his arms back stabbing him as he landed. He pulled his claws back as the droid exploded. He looked around and let his claws slid in. He then looked back at the controller room. This session was over.

" Now Mr. Logan, that hardly seemed a challenge for you." A familiar voice rang through the heavy, metallic walls of the danger room. From above the three figures in the Observation Room became quite apparent. After a short moment Logan would be able to make out that the three figures were none other than the Stepford Cuckoos. The voice that boomed through the room, belonged to none other than Celeste, the eldest of the three.
In the observation room, Celeste stood hovering over the danger room's com system microphone. Her arms were planted firmly on the control panel before her, supporting the majority of her weight. Her shining, golden blonde hair, was swept in a neat side bang, whith the remainder of her hair cascading down to her shoulders. To her left Mindee sat with her legs crossed in one of the tall comfy chairs behind the console. She had a smug grin on her face, as she sat observing Professor Logan. Her lean, toned arms folded neatly over her chest. Her hair naturally was done in an identical fashion to Celeste's.
Phoebe too had been watching in the observation room. She was actualluy sittin on the console, but at a portion that had very few buttons. Her arms were folded neatly on her lap, withe he fine crystalline eyes gazing down at the feral professor. She smirked a bit, and then began to speak. " Now Mr. Logan" Her voice trailed off, but Mindee immediately picked it up. " Why don't you allow us" Without even trying Celeste joined in for a word or two, and ended up finishing the sentence off. " to give you a real challenge?"
With that all three of the Cuckoo girls raised a finely fashioned brow, and smirked down to Logan. It was a bit eery how they laced their sentences in and out between one another, and alos how their actions seemed perfectly in sync. It was also a bit eery how similar many of the girls' manorisms were to Emma Frost. " Well what do you say?" All three of the girls stated this final question in perfect unison, and followed it up with a second arching of the brow.

Logan looked at the three as they sat and stood there in the control room. Sure they where a bit freaky. Make that a lot, always being together, always being together and even finishing eachother sentences. Now they wanted to try and give him a harder training. Around Logan the remains vanished as he stood up straight looking at the three.
In his mind he tried to figure out why. Sure they could be usefull in a fight he didn't deny this. But one things was certain these three where telepaths he had never seen them fight one on one. So unless Emma would have educated them behind the scenes he had no idea how they would be able to keep up if he went to full, or over that since he was still improving himself.
"In what way do you three think you can provide me a challange, besides messing with my head?" He asked and let his claws slide fully in now. The three wounds on his fists healing up straight away leaving nothing but marks on his gloves.

"Oh, I'm sure they could figure something out, Logan."
Nate was standing just in front of the door of the main room. How he could gotten in during a training session...well, when one could phase through matter, it really was simple. His brown hair, coupled with his white streak, was growing a bit shaggy, with his bangs falling down on either side of his face. His brown eyes were hidden behind a pair of his father's old ruby quartz sunglasses. He was dressed in a gray training t-shirt, emblazoned with the X-logo upon the front, as well as a pair of blue jean cargo pants. His trademark dark blue jacket with yellow lining was worn over it.
"After all, you've never been the best at telepathic fights. And when you're as powerful a telepath as they are, you can just learn hand-to-hand by pulling it out of a person's mind. Right, ladies?" He looked up to the observation deck, a boyish smile that could melt hearts on his face. "And how're the three of you today?"

" Well Mr. Logan, we'll just have to see now won't we." Celeste was the only one speaking now, and she flashed a fabulous smirk in Logan's direction. Mindee and Phoebe's eyes shifted in the direction of the new figure present in the Danger Room. It was none other than Nate Grey, The X Man. The other two sisters smirked slightly, as Celeste caught wind of the son of Headmaster Summers. " Hello Nate." All three of the sisters voices chimed in in an heavenly melody. " Come to join us have you?" Mindee's voice fell out slolwly after the others dinished speaking, folowed by a light chuckle from Phoebe.
By this time Celeste had begun to make her way from the Observtion Room, to the actual floor of the danger room. She dropped quickly to ground level using the elevator, that connected the two levels, and sauntered slowly from the elevator bay to where Nate and Logan were standing. " Fine as always Nate." Those enchanting eyes of Celeste's moved from Nate to Logan. She took a moment to size up the compact, feral professor. " Well Mr. Logan I'm sure you could teach us a thing or two." Celeste quirked one of her fine brows, and slid her hand sup onto her hips. If Logan would agree to this, it should be a fine training session for the Stepford Cuckoos.

Nate didn't find the girls creepy at all. In fact, the identical hive mind was unique. Speaking in unison was their trademark. The Institute prided students on developing their own unique traits that set them out from others instead of conforming, and the Cuckoos did that nicely.
~~I've come to watch, actually. Emma is out of town, so right now, I'm the only adult telepath in the mansion.~~ He spoke mentally to all three of the girls. ~~I'm hoping to see you girls in action, to see what you're capable of doing against our resident combat expert.~~ As he continued to communicate telepathically with them, Nate flew up to the Observation Deck, where he phased through the window. His blue Chuck Taylors landed on the steel floor just in front of the computer, allowing him to monitor the action. ~~Besides that, I could never say no to three gorgeous young ladies.~~ As always, Nate was quite the charmer.
"Okay, people." Nate spoke through the intercom down into the main room. "I'd like to see all three of you girls face Logan. Just one at the beginning wouldn't really be effective. After all, he's fought in wars, ya' know."

Logan didn't look up by Nate's appearance. One thing he could phase through walls. But not many could hide from his sences. He shook his head as he spoke and wondered who had let junior boyscout in. "Let em try and get in first." Logan replied to his remark. Thanks to Xavier his mind was protected from any telepathic attack up to level nign. Not even Emma could break in, unless she would want to kill him of course.
As Celeste in the mean time walked over to him he looked at the other two following. He simply cracked his neck in reply. He would see how far these three had come. He wasn't a fool. If these three wanted to fight so bad it had a reason. However he had his own luck, experience and of course healing on his side. Not to mention his sences and years of training. Attacks he hadn't even used while he had been here in the mansion.
"Less talking." Logan now moved one leg back. His eyes locked on the three girls as his claws shot out. He moved them up to his chest level and waited. "More action." The last words where spoken in a more darker way.

Celeste smirked a bit as Nate's echoed in her mind. Mindee and Phoebe felt the effects also, yet they remainded seated in the observation deck. They really had no need to physically get involved. Mindee glanced over to Nate as he came up, and phased through the wall before them. Nate, flattery will get you everywhere. Identical smiles fell upon all three grils' faces as their voice would slip into the mind of Nate, The X-Man.
Celeste's eyes moved down as towards the now fully extended claws of Professor Logan. Immediately the smile on her face diminshed into a smirk. Those crystalline blue eyes of hers, slowly began to glow. The glow resonated from around the iris, before quickly taking over the entire eye. The eyes of Mindee and Phoebe adjusted at an identical rate. The minds of the three girls were now linked in a hive super mind form. Celeste could now view herself from not only her eyes, but Mindee and Phoebe's aswell. It was, as they called it, the Three-in-one.
Celeste remained in a relaxed stance, as she looked Logan over. She was now prepared for this training to begin, and Logan would see what the combined training of Emma and Scott would rear.

Nate glanced over his shoulder one last time to the girls. If they wanted to leave Celeste down there to fend for herself, so be it. Of course, he didn't want any of the girls to get completely vivisected by the adamantium claws of Wolverine, but it was their choice.
His fingers danced over the computer before him. Composed of Shi'ar/Stark technology, not to mention the additions of Forge and Beast, the Danger Room and its computers could make the United States government blush. The technology showed its strength now, as the steel cube of a room melted around Celeste and Logan. The gleaming metal was soon replaced with the open air of New York City. Specifically, the two were now standing upon the rooftop of a high rise apartment somewhere in Manhattan.
Nate thought he was just allow the two to fight it out. With a grin, he moved over to take a seat between Mindee and Phoebe. "So, girls. There's three of you, but you all become one mind. Does that mean some lucky guy gets to have all three of you all to himself?"

Logan still stood there his claws out and his eyes fixed on Celeste. He would see what this girl could do indeed. His eyes narrowed for a moment. He knew Emma, he knew Cyclops. He knew their attacks and their ways. He slid his foot a bit back untill he found grip. He pushed a bit back and jumped forwards. He locked out Nate for now making his target the most important thing on his mind for the moment.
As he jumped he would make sure he landed before Celeste not in top of her as you would expect from him. He however now wasn't feral. He knew what he was doing full well. He lashed out and turned. He wouldn't be worried about the girl. She knew how to handle herself so it seemed for now.
